Privacy notice

What personal data Neo collects when you send or receive money, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

When a transfer passes through the Neo network we receive identifying information about the sender and the recipient: name, contact details, the identification document presented at the sending partner, the payout details, and the transaction itself.

Where you contact us directly — through the contact form, by email or by phone — we hold what you tell us alongside any reference number you provide.

Why we hold it

Two reasons. The first is that we cannot move money without it. The second is that Nepal Rastra Bank directives, along with anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing obligations, require us to identify the parties to a transfer and to retain those records.

Who we share it with

The sending partner that took the payment, the paying institution at the Nepali end, and Nepal Rastra Bank or other competent authorities where we are legally required to report or respond.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

Transaction records are retained for the period required by Nepali law and regulatory directive. Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as it is needed to resolve the matter and to evidence how it was handled.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, and ask about the basis on which we hold it. Some records cannot be deleted on request because we are required to retain them.

Write to info@neomoneytransfer.com with enough detail to identify the records concerned.
