Where to find the reference
The reference number is printed on the receipt the sending partner issued, and is usually included in the confirmation SMS or email. It is between 10 and 16 characters and may be called a PIN, MTCN or transaction number depending on which partner took the payment.
What each status means
- Received — the sending partner has taken the money and handed the instruction to Neo.
- Screening — compliance checks are running. This is normally a few seconds.
- Cleared — converted and cleared on the Nepal Rastra Bank settlement network.
- Paid — credited to the account or wallet, or collected at an agent counter.
- On hold — something needs checking. Contact support with the reference.
